Sarasvati in Hymns of Vaisvamitra

Saraswati purifies, bestows power, wealth, prosperity, rides swift steeds (पावका नः सरस्वती वाजेभिर्वाजिनीवती, 1.003.10).[1] She promotes you, is goddess of true speech and knowledge, stimulates intellect with her presence (चोदयित्री सूनृतानां चेतन्ती),[2] is benevolent, glorious (1.003.11). Stream of light (महो अर्णः),[3] Saraswati, sets forth reasonable intellect (प्र चेतयति केतुना)[4]; She is Knowledge, and rules the world (धियो विश्वा वि राजति)[5] (1.003.12).

For these reasons, one must worship (यज्ञं, 1.003.10-11) the goddess, and be eager and rich in devotion (वष्टु धियावसुः, 1.003.10)[6].
